The name of the b & b "Attarin" comes from the Arabic word for Suk-el-attarin that indicated the "Spice Market". It is located in the heart of the ancient city of Palermo, between Piazza Borsa and the famous Via Roma, home to many neoclassical and baroque buildings including the Liberty Savings Bank built between 1907 and 1912 and designed by Ernesto Basile and the church of S. Anna, now home to the Gallery of Modern Art. A few steps from the main monuments and historic squares (Piazza Castelnuovo, Teatro Massimo, Piazza Pretoria, Cathedral ...) the b & b Attarin, built in the late 800 and the first floor of a private house entirely renovated, is the ideal place for cultural trips and business trips.
