In the area of ??Crete Senesi, a few steps from the Via Francigena. Savour the aroma of nature along the Wine Route D'Orcia and the characteristic Tuscan olive oil. You will be enchanted by the magnificent medieval town of San Giovanni d'Asso which boasts the first truffle museum in Italy: 250 sqm divided into 4 nuclei exhibit, located in the basement of her age-old castle. A place, which took justice in 2004, when UNESCO registered the Val d'Orcia, a World Heritage Site: the first rural area to be awarded this recognition defining the motivations like "icon of the landscape." Rolling hills, rows of cypress trees, castles and abbeys, churches and monasteries, villages and cities, farms and roads demonstrate its well-merited recognition.
