Camping Tirreno is located in the area of ​​Capo Calavà, on the Tyrrhenian coast with a wonderful view of the Aeolian Islands.
It is located a few meters from a clean and clear sea where the depths are a real attraction for divers. From inside the camping you can directly access to one of the most beautiful sandy and pebble beaches, the Saracen Coast.
The campsite is open from June to September and offers space for tents, campers and caravans. There are light points, toilets, free hot showers within the services, supermarket, newsagent and camper service.
The camping is equipped with natural and artificial shading; the soil is composed of earth and gravel.
From Calavà area it is possible to make day trips to Tindari, the lakes Marinello, in Palermo, Cefalu, Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples. Also you can reach the volcano Etna and the spectacular city of Taormina, the Nebrodi Park, and the municipalities of the Saracen Coast. The Aeolian Islands are within easy reach being Calavà the closest point from Sicily.
We offer the possibility of renting tennis courts or soccer; at the beach you can rent paddle boats and canoes.

In Auto
From Catania take the motorway A18 to Messina, then follow the A20 to Palermo, exit after about 80 km Patti. Continue on the SS113, direction Palermo until Calavà Bay (1- 2 km before Gioiosa Marea). Follow the signs for Camping Tirreno.
From Palermo take the A19 highway towards Cefalù and then take the motorway A20 towards Messina, exit at Brolo and continue on the SS113, direction Messina until Calavà Bay (1-2 km after Gioiosa Marea). Follow the signs for Camping Tirreno.
By Train br The nearest train station is the Patti 10 km from our campsite. From here bus to joyful Marea.
By Plane
From Catania Fontanarossa (180 km, 1h50m ride), take the A18 motorway to Messina. Exit south Messina and take the highway A20 to Palermo, exit after about 80 km Patti.
Continue on the SS113 to Gioiosa Marea - Capo Calavà. Follow the signs for Camping Tirreno.
