Terrauzza sul Mare, which overlooks the splendid coast of the legendary Ionian Sea, is owned by the descendants of the ancient Blanco family, from which the company coat of arms and the name of the road from which it is accessed derives. The company, which produces citrus fruits, olives, olive oil, jams and sweet liqueurs, is 70 km from Catania airport and only 10 km from the city of Syracuse, famous throughout the world for its archaeological sites and its museums. Terrauzza sul Mare is served by public transport and an excellent bus service plus boat to the island of Ortigia. Just 30 km away you can visit Noto, the capital of the Baroque, and the splendid natural reserves of Vendicari, Cava Grande di Cassibile and the Necropolis of Pantalica. A little more than an hour by car you can reach the other beautiful baroque cities of Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla. Hospitality is offered in nine air-conditioned apartments for two, three or four people. Each apartment has one or two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom with shower and outdoor terrace. The company has direct access to the sea and is equipped with a playground for children, bicycles, soccer fields and bowls.
